For international groups
Three ways to bring your group to Kundawell
Kundawell welcomes organized international groups for programs on-site in Beijing. Authorized representatives and senior students of Prof. Xu Mingtang may organize and accompany group trips to the Institute.

Educational seminars
Students of Prof. Xu Mingtang, certified practitioners and teachers may bring their own groups to run educational programs directly at the Kundawell Institute.

On-site treatments
Health treatments
Chinese Image Medicine (Image Therapy)
Chinese Image Medicine is a safe, painless method of diagnosis and treatment with no side effects, grounded in the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The therapist reads the state of the internal organs and replaces pathological (“unhealthy”) images with healthy ones.
Image Therapy works on the whole person, restoring balance on three levels:
- Physical
- Energetic
- Spiritual / informational
Key advantages:
- Treats the cause, not the symptoms — the method removes the root of the illness rather than merely easing its manifestations
- High effectiveness — it helps with complex conditions that conventional Western medicine often struggles with
- An individual approach — treatment is tailored to each patient's unique “image”, drawing on the therapist's experience and wisdom
Cupping therapy
Cupping therapy is one of the oldest methods of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), with a history spanning more than two thousand years. The method is based on creating a localized vacuum that gently acts on the skin, subcutaneous tissue, and muscles.
According to TCM theory, cupping helps harmonize the circulation of vital energy Qi and blood, resolve stagnation, promote the expulsion of pathogenic factors such as wind, cold, and dampness, and restore the body's natural balance.
From the standpoint of modern medicine, vacuum therapy:
- Improves blood microcirculation
- Promotes relaxation of muscles and fascia
- Reduces local muscle tension
- Stimulates the body's natural tissue repair processes
- May lessen the intensity of chronic musculoskeletal pain
Moxibustion
Moxibustion is a traditional TCM method in which biologically active points are warmed with smoldering mugwort (moxa). For thousands of years, this method has been used to strengthen vital energy, restore inner balance, and prevent illness.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the warmth of moxa is believed to:
- Replenish a deficiency of Yang energy
- Activate the movement of Qi and blood
- Dispel cold and dampness
- Improve nourishment of the tissues
- Support the body's natural restorative processes
Modern research shows that localized heat exposure helps:
- Improve microcirculation
- Reduce muscle spasm
- Diminish chronic pain
- Relax the nervous system
